Great piece of farmland with the potential for either residential or commercial development in the future. This land did not hold flood waters during the recent flood event. The land is located about 7 miles west of Lyford at a major intersection. At one point in time, this rectangular tract of land was bisected by a large drainage canal that came through Willacy County in the mid-80's. So this tracts owns approx. 7.7 acres of right-of-way in the canal. There are approximately 30 acres on the north side of the canal, and 5.5 acres on the south side of the canal.
