The property was logged in the early 2000s' with a followup treatment approximately 10 years ago to release young growth established during the early 2000s logging. Ruffed, grouse deer and American woodcock frequent the highest elevation portions of the property along CR 9/1 The property is densely forested with a cover of young trees of several commercially desirable species including poplar, oak and maple. ATV access into and through the property is very good by way of a professionally-engineered trail system established during the first harvest. Hunters previously leasing the property maintained many trails in a passable condition. The entire northern boundary of the property abuts Monongahela National Forest.
